Over the last 30 years, I’ve lived at the intersection of music and ministry: as a full-time professional musician, a worship leader, and almost twenty years as an ordained pastor. Through those years, I’ve learned firsthand how important it is to not only sense what God is doing in worship, but to respond with clarity so others can follow.

My journey hasn’t been about theory. It’s been week-in and week-out, learning how to lead worship teams and congregations into real encounters with God’s presence. The practices of singing the Scriptures and singing in the Spirit have become anchors for me, and I’ve watched them bring both freedom and confidence to those I’ve discipled.

The Singing Seminary has grown out of that experience. I’ve led multiple sessions of this workshop, equipping worship leaders, musicians, and hungry believers to step beyond uncertainty into Spirit-led confidence. I love teaching this because my vision is to see worship in every context marked by skill, sensitivity, and a genuine encounter with the Lord.

My prayer is that this time will deepen your confidence to hear God’s voice and respond with freedom in worship.

What if I’m not a worship leader?
That’s perfectly fine. The Singing Seminary is for anyone who wants to grow in confidence in following the Spirit through worship — whether you’re a worship leader, team member, or simply someone hungry to encounter God in a deeper way.
What if I can only attend one day?
Come for as much as you can. Each session is designed to stand on its own, so even one day will be meaningful and practical. Of course, the full experience offers the most growth, but you’ll benefit no matter what.
What if I can’t afford it?
We never want finances to be a barrier. Scholarships are available for those who need them — simply reach out and we’ll work with you.
I’m not a strong singer. Is this still for me?
Yes! Singing Seminary isn’t about vocal performance. It’s about learning how to discern God’s movement and respond with confidence. You don’t need a polished voice to engage — just a willing heart.
I don’t feel spiritual enough to sing in the Spirit — what if I get it wrong?
You don’t need to be “super-spiritual” to grow in this. Ron teaches in a safe, encouraging way that helps you step out with confidence. It’s not about perfection, it’s about learning to respond to the Lord and discovering freedom as you practice.
Is this going to be too basic if I already lead worship?
Not at all. Ron teaches from decades of experience, and his focus is on skills and insights that help you go deeper — whether you’re just starting out or have been leading for years.
Is this going to be all theory, or will I actually learn things I can use?
Everything you’ll learn is practical and reproducible. Ron demonstrates concepts live and gives you tools, language, and examples you can bring back to your church right away.
Will this really translate back to my church, or will I just leave inspired?
You’ll leave not only inspired but equipped. The goal is to give you confidence, clarity, and practical steps that make sense in your local context.
